Ok, so the official start of Summer hasn’t happened yet but it’s slowly creeping up. June 21st to be exact.

Well, even though we’re technically still in Spring this weekend Texans are sure going to feel the heat as triple digit heat is expected to make its return!

According to reports, Parts of Texas are forecast to see record breaking temperatures beginning Thursday and lasting through the weekend.

The Weather Service said that parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas were also expected to experience critical fire weather on Thursday and Friday, indicating a higher-than-average risk of wildfires.

The forecast for El Paso shows that we could possibly hit our first triple-digit day by the end of the week and the heat will continue throughout the weekend.

 

Heat Advisories are in place for cities like Dallas and although no heat advisory is in place for El Paso, yet, we are under a red flag warning which means any outdoor burning is not recommended at all!
