The city of El Paso knows that the Summer heat can be tough for locals who may not have the proper air conditioning in their homes and they’re hoping to help relieve those residents with cooling centers across the city.
The Extreme Weather Task Force has officially kicked off their Summer Fan Drive initiative. This initiative is a way for the task force to ensure that people in our community without a working air conditioner are able to get a free fan to relieve them from the heat this Summer season.
People walk or train for a marathon in the middle of a triple digit day, and tend to expose the most amount of skin to fry under the blazing hot El Paso sun.
