The Force Was Strong During This El Paso Pre-K Graduation Photo Shoot

Photo bombs. Sometimes we love them and sometimes they can ruin the best photos ever! (I’m talking to you, random dude at the bar who thought it was a good idea to ruin a girls night out selfie!)

Anyways, for one local Pre-K grad a recent photobomb turned out to be a memory he and his Mom will never forget!

5-year-old Jason is a Star Wars SUPERFAN! According to his mom, Sabrina, Jason knows all the major characters and he even has a Star Wars themed room that is full of Star Wars action figures, stuffed animals, droids, and Star Wars related books. 

So it was only fitting that Jason would head to his favorite place in the world to get his Pre-K graduation photos, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland!

Jason’s mom hired a photographer to join them on their family vacation to snap a few photos of their son in his cap and gown.

“This was definitely a surprise, we had wanted to take a few pictures for his Pre-K graduation and the photographer was so amazing. He told us "This is going to take a while" then took my son to multiple locations,” said Sabrina.

While Jason was getting his grad pictures taken he was pleasantly surprised to be interrupted by two very nosey Storm Troopers.

  “The photographer managed to grab the character attendant's attention so they could steer the Storm Troopers over to my son,” said Sabrina.

Jason’s mom was able to capture the special moment on video and shared it to her Instagram page with the caption reading, “When Storm Troopers decide to join your Pre-K graduation photo session at Galaxy’s Edge.”

The look of shock on Jason’s face quickly turned into a look of happiness once he realized his favorite Star Wars characters were going to be a part of his graduation shoot.

“He told me he was so surprised when he realized they were behind him that all he could do was laugh and smile. Afterwards he told me "That was so cool,” said Sabrina.

Cool indeed!! Especially since this was Jason’s first trip to a theme park since the pandemic closed all theme parks down in 2020.

But hold on! That wasn’t the end of Jason’s graduation experience in Disneyland. Earlier that same day Jason walked by Chewbacca and was surprised when Chewy took his hand and just walked around with him around Galaxy’s Edge and let Jason talk to him about all his Star Wars toys.

Um, ok Jason. I see you being besties with all the coolest people in the galaxy…literally!

A few days before this Disneyland experience, Jason was also lucky enough to have Kylo Ren call him over while he was on Patrol with Storm troopers in Galaxy's Edge and made Jason promise to tell him the whereabouts of Chewbacca.

Now, I do not know whether or not Jason disclosed that information and honestly… I don’t want to get in the middle of this Galaxy drama so I’ll keep to myself on that one!

This trip definitely seems like it is a trip Jason will NEVER forget! Way to go, Mom. Memories like that are the best ones to make, together.
