The First ‘Ghostbusters’ Trailer Has Arrived, Complete With Library Ghost

The first trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon is finally here.

It seems to indicate that it's more of a straightforward remake than we would've thought: A library ghost, the hearse, the intergroup dynamics (McKinnon plays the Egon Spengler figure, and may be our favorite so far). The 1984 original, helmed by Ivan Reitman, had more of a dry tone than the more slapstick approach evident in this first trailer — though that choice does play to Leslie Jones' strengths (or those we've seen on SNL so far).
