The bodycam footage, shared in a heartfelt post by the fire department, captured every tense moment of the rescue. As J. Head broke through the window of the burning building, his teammate, identified as Serratelli, called out, encouraging the toddler to follow their voices. Liam's frightened cries echoed, a sound that, according to the firefighters, meant he was still fighting—and that they were running out of time. Carefully, Serratelli lifted Liam out, carrying him down the ladder to safety, marking the end of a harrowing but ultimately successful rescue.

Once safely removed from the blaze, Liam was rushed to a nearby ambulance before being flown to Cook Children's hospital in Fort Worth for further care.
