From Texas to Arizona, The Lone Star State's favorite travel stop is making its grand debut in the Grand Canyon State! Yup, Buc-ee's is rolling into Goodyear, Arizona, marking its first-ever location in the Western U.S.!
If you’re not familiar with Buc-ee’s it’s probably because every location is more than 8 hours away, but Buc-ee’s is the world's largest convenience store with a whopping 120-fueling stations, enough snacks to make your taste buds do a happy dance, a large selection of souvenirs, delicious smoked brisket and a "wall of beef jerky" that seems to go on forever.
"It’s more than just a gas station or a convenience store. Buc-ee’s will provide our residents with what they’ve been asking for – more options – and that’s what they’ll get as our city continues to grow."
Buc-ee’s has about 47 locations, with most located in Texas, so the news that Arizona could be getting a Buc-ee’s of their own excited many El Pasoans because now we won’t have to drive 8 hours to enjoy the large store!
According to online reports, The Goodyear City Council voted to approve a rezone, clearing the way for the first Buc-ee’s gas station to open up in Arizona.
Buc-ee’s submitted a plan to open a 75,000-square-foot retail store in Goodyear that would be located off I-10 and Bullard Avenue.
