We complain around here when the spring winds hit, dust clouds billow up all over town, the heat of the summer, and then the two weeks out of the year that our swamp coolers don't work because of the 'monsoon season'. But I think all that is nothing compared to the kind of craziness that happens in the rest of the country when the roads ice up during the winter...

An El Paso family found out the hard way that colder weather and a faulty heater is a recipe for carbon monoxide poisoning.

For the last month and a half, Foley farmer Greg Novak has been busy building a 50-foot tall snowman.

A couple of years ago, we had a stretch of lows in the teens, and it caused a lot of havoc all over the city.  Well, get ready, because tonight, we're going to drop into the teens!

It's 8:00 Monday morning, and as of right now, there are reports of patchy snowfall on the far east side, BUT, that doesn't mean school has been affected!  All school districts are on their regular schedules!  Yes, you have to go to school!  Sorry - I tried, but apparently my snow dance wasn't strong enough.

Back in February, we had a really nasty freeze that messed up plumbing in houses and businesses all over town.  Well, get ready, because we might have another Snowpocalypse on our hands tonight and into Tuesday, but the folks at EPWU are ready!
