The El Paso County Coliseum is commemorating its 80th Anniversary in a very special way and they want the community to be a part of this celebration. Specifically community artists.
Tino Ortega, the El Paso artist behind the El Paso 3D Mylar Balloon Mural series, has now completes his 13th mural and honestly, it may be my favorite so far.

Installation artist Gregory Euclide took an ordinary landscape and added a 3D element so that a painted river and forest appear to spill out of the frame and into the museum in which it hangs. The painting/diorama hybrid is currently on display at New York City’s Museum of Arts and Design as part of an exhibition called “Otherworldly: Optical Delusions and Small Realities.”
