In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, along with the El Paso Chapter Koman for the Cure continues to give out pink ribbons at a different location this week and handing out breast education and screening information.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this week is Mike and Tricia Mornings Pink Ribbon Week, so you'll hear us talking a lot about early detection being the best protection against breast cancer.  But what if you can't afford the one test that can help detect breast cancer early?

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer, and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in the United States. That being said, there are 2.9 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today.  My youngest sister, Laura, is one of them.
