Support Local Restaurants While Feeding El Paso’s Healthcare Workers
Feed the Frontline, El Paso is simultaneously supporting our local healthcare workers who are working in grueling conditions as well as local restaurants who have been impacted by the COVID 19 crisis.
El Paso's first clinician meal-support program, Feed the Frontline, El Paso, has raised more than $76,000 in donations while providing more than 6,000 meals to medical professionals in need all thanks to donations that have poured in from our community.
The meal program which is a supporting organization of the El Paso Community Foundation uses donations to purchase and deliver meals from local, financially challenged restaurants to feed area hospital staff completely free of charge. Since the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, the program has supported more than 50 locally-owned restaurants, many of which are family-owned businesses that have been serving El Paso for several decades.
As cases of COVID 19 continues to grow and hospitals are reaching their capacity, Feed the Frontline, El Paso continues to make a lasting emotional impact on doctors, nurses, and support staff throughout the El Paso community.
Feed the Frontline, El Paso has provided free meals at the following medical facilities:
