Sunland Park Mall Now EP Fighting Hunger Emergency Food Distribution Site

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank has added a new Westside location to its emergency food boxes distribution schedule.

Beginning Friday, April 10, Sunland Park Mall will be a drive-thru Mega Pantry Distribution site, according to a post on the EPFHFB Facebook. The mall parking lot is now one of five drive-thru distribution locations in El Paso.

The distribution schedule at Sunland Park Mall will be every Monday and Friday from 10AM to 2PM until further notice

The food boxes are being handed out drive thru style, meaning there is no need to get out of one's car, in order to minimize contact.

Since the city issued stay home orders in late March, many businesses were forced to close and/or downsize its workforce. EP Fighting Hunger has stepped up to meet the “overwhelming demand” for food from those who have been hit hard by the measures that have been taken to stop the spread of the pandemic.
