Labor Day weekend is still a few months away, but that isn’t stopping event organizers for Brightside Music Festival from spilling a few details on musical acts that are set to make their way to El Paso for the new festival!

Brightside Music Festival is set to happen in El Paso during Labor Day weekend. The music festival will take place at Ascarate Park and according to event organizers it is planned to be a longstanding event in the borderland.

Brightside Music Festival will have three stages of music that will include music genres ranging from Latin, to EDM, to Hop Hip, to Indie.

This past week event organizers shared a few artist announcements with well-known American DJ and producer, Steve Aoki, being the first announcement.

“Who wants to get caked⁉️🎂 Welcome back to the Brightside, our Co-Headliner for Saturday, Sept 2nd @steveaoki,” read a post shared to the event's official Instagram page.

Steve Aoki is no stranger to El Paso. He has performed in the borderland before and is definitely an El Paso favorite.

The second artist announcement provided Latin music fans with something to celebrate.

“Welcome to the Brightside our featured Latin artist @jaywheelerpr on Sat, Sept 2nd‼ Bringing his Emociones Tour to the sun city,” read the post.

Aside from music, Brightside music festival will also have tons of local vendors and food trucks for guests to enjoy as well as art pieces and structures throughout the event site and a large Ferris Wheel. 

The festival will also provide guests with different experiences throughout the day at the festival. These experiences include yoga, live painting, and more.

The rest of the official artist lineup will be released in the coming weeks.

“The GOAL is to grow to ACL size,” SAID GUS, “And we believe we will with what we’re bringing, it’ll be huge for this city.”

Ticket information has no yet been released.
