Speaking Rock just spoke out on social media and said what every El Paso event coordinator, organization, and business has been wanting to say for a while.

Sunday, July 26th, Speaking Rock Casino paid thousands of dollars to have the legendary rap group Cypress Hill out for the casinos free concert series. Clearly the comments on social media finally pushed an El Paso business over the edge.

You know the kind of comments, the ones we see constantly on Fitfam or on literally ANY post made about something good happening for the city. The comments from the laziest, cheapest, least hard working people in the city. The leeches and neckbeards who sit in their moms basement and harass people online behind fake profiles because the only joy they will ever have in their lives is making others miserable. Not because its fun, but because they are such pathetic losers that getting someone to take their rage bait is the closest thing they'll ever have to a meaningful relationship.

The message from Speaking Rock was aimed at the commenters who were complaining about the recent Cypress Hill show. Some even complaining about the FREE show because they had to pay for anything at all. As if a business doesn't have to make money somehow. The comments were almost all on Speaking Rocks side. It is clear El Paso is tired of the complainers. Here is the statement from Speaking Rocks facebook page:

Do people understand that Speaking Rock Casino pays thousands and thousands of dollars for these bands to come whether it’s Godsmack … Cypress Hill ,,,,,korn .,,Lady A… Molotov …Banda lemon … the list goes on and on and on we pay for the bands to come no band has ever played here for free!!!! we bring it to the public for free. Nobody’s required to spend anything for food or drinks or water or beer. There’s no minimum spend yet people still complain. Sometimes it boggles my mind. - Speaking Rock Casino

Speaking Rock isn't the only creator out in El Paso clapping back at the useless critics who have never tried to do anything with their life but complain. The Takeover Show, a popular local podcast that teams up with huge events all over the city had this to say about supporting local:

As an event coordinator, an artist in the city, a voice for El Paso, and a passionate member of the Sun City, I stand firmly with the people who actually DO something for El Paso. Those of us who spend all of our time trying to be actual citizens who uplift El Paso, who go out and fight for meaningful change, who raise a ruckus about the problems and issues we have here -- we are tired of how many people want nothing more than to hate this city.

We are fighting to make El Paso wonderful, and there are too many people complaining about it while doing absolutely nothing to change it. I stand with Speaking Rock.
