Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo Is Fun for All Ages
Get ready for deep-fried foods, carnival rides, professional rodeo competitions, and the sweet sounds of country music.
The Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo, one of the Land of Enchantment’s more distinguished annual events, is riding into town beginning Wednesday, September 27 through Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds.
Planned attractions and entertainment for this year's fair include Best Of The Southwest Open Bull Riding, and the 2017 Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo.
Daily entertainment will include an exotic petting zoo, pig races, and the Xpogo Stunt Team, "the world’s best extreme pogo demonstration crew."
Plus, it's a fair so carnival rides, midway games and deep-fried foods will be part of the mix too.
Fair hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Sep. 27-28, 9 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, Sep. 29-Sep. 30, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1.
Tickets are $14 age 15 and older and $10 age 7 to 14. Children 6 years and younger get in free. Fair admission includes exhibits, entertainment, rodeo, and speedway.
