Someone call Quentin Tarantino because he needs to direct the movie for this dramatic El Paso story.

A serious situation is gaining national attention, due to El Paso officials not working together. El Paso's COVID-19 confirmed cases are rising, hospitals are filling up and officials are disagreeing.

The latest discussion finds El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego has issued a two week stay home order. Here is where it gets weird. The County Judge did not consult the El Paso Mayor, according to the El Paso Mayor but went ahead and issued the order.

El Paso's Mayor Dee Margo went on The Buzz Adams Morning Show to say this order was not going to be held up, which caused even more drama between officials.

Now to add gas to the fire, some El Paso City council members have released their statement on the situation. According to KFOX14 reporter Keenan Willard, El Paso City Council Representative Peter Svarzbein, Alexsandra Annello, and Cassandra Hernandez are showing their support for the El Paso County Judge.

As you can see above, the statement was sent out to the media and is still making its rounds to El Pasoans. A holiday weekend is approaching and the real drama is going to come from how El Pasoans are going act during these dramatic times.

Residents are being told it is not recommended to go out and gather but as we have seen from past holidays, El pasoans continue to do what they want, over what they think is best.
