Some Beautiful Artwork from Chalk the Block

Chalk the Block 2018 was another year filled with incredibly talented El Paso artist, who created magic on the sidewalks around Downtown El Paso. This year's event seemed to consume the event footprint as tons of art was everywhere you looked. From the walls of parking structures to streets and benches, chalk creations were beautifully given life.

One of the highlights of the event is the chalk art competition, which gives the local artist a chance to show off their skills while giving something for attendees to admire as they make their way around the event. As you can see in the photos, tons of amazing chalk creations were showcased on Saturday, even though the three-day event had a rainy start on Friday. With over 200 artists, this Chalk the Block was bigger than ever!

With tons of interactive displays, local bands, vendors and tons of amazing local merchandise, Chalk the Block was an incredible experience that celebrated art on a local, national and international level. Can't wait till next year.
