Natural hot springs are pretty cool ... no pun intended ... and we have a several right in our own backyard.

There are amazing hot springs all over the United States and the benefits of soaking up their waters include pain relief, improving blood circulation and more.

Not to mention the more obvious benefits of relaxing, getting away from the "same old, same old" and seeing new sites and places.

You don't have to travel all over the country to find beautiful hot springs either, we have a few just up the interstate in Truth Or Consequences. About an hour away, (less, if you drive like I do), T or C is loaded with places to enjoy the waters. Including:

Fire Water Lodge. My own, personal favorite. A beautiful place that offers private soaking tubs IN (most of) the rooms.

Riverbend Hot Springs. Public pools are available as are private ones for all the nudists out there. Overnight lodging is available and RV's can also be accommodated.

Aquarius Soak And Chill. Aquarius offers lodging and all natural hot spring bathing. Your privacy is also assured so, feel free to try out that birthday suit.

T or C is not a big place so, pretty much all of these are close to restaurants, shops, entertainment, etc. There are more throughout our 'hood than you might think, here are a few more.

You should always be careful with really hot water. While most hot springs labeled as being "too hot" or "dangerous" are usually clearly marked ... or off limits completely ...  we're all different and so are our heat tolerances.

Ease yourself in, ok?
