Snow Day: El Paso And Las Cruces Closures For February 3

EPISD classes and non-essential operations canceled Thursday, Feb. 3

EPISD after school activities, and athletics events canceled (with some exceptions)

YISD classes canceled Thursday, Feb. 3

All YISD athletic events and practices are also canceled Thursday, Feb. 3

YISD schools, administrative offices closed, Thursday, Feb. 3

Socorro ISD closed Thursday, Feb. 3

SISD coaches and sponsors will communicate with their teams/groups.

Canutillo ISD schools, offices and facilities closed Thursday, Feb. 3

Fabens ISD schools and offices will be closed Thursday, February 3rd.

San Elizario Independent School District: All schools and administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Feb. 3. All district athletics and extracurricular activities will also be canceled.

Tornillo Independent School District all schools, administrative offices, and extra-curricular activities in the will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 3

Clint ISD is closed for today due to the weather.

All IDEA Public Schools in El Paso will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 3, and will re-open and operate on a normal schedule on Friday, Feb. 4.

El Paso Catholic schools classes are cancelled for Thursday, Feb. 3. All after school and extra curricular activities will be cancelled tomorrow as well.

Harmony Public Schools in West Texas closed Thursday, Feb. 3.

Burnham Wood Charter School District and Vista Del Futuro Charter School District will be closed Thursday, Feb. 3. Schools will not be open. Classes will resume Friday, Feb. 4.

UTEP: If classes or operations cannot be conducted remotely, they will be cancelled due to adverse weather. Faculty members should communicate to their students about how or whether their courses will be taught

UTEP: In addition to previously announced adjustments, all on-campus COVID-19 testing, including the city’s mega drive-up testing site at 3333 N. Mesa, will be closed Feb. 3.

UTEP: all activities at during the workday Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, move to remote operations

UTEP’s Spring Career Fair will still take place with a modified schedule of 12-5 p.m.

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Foster School of Medicine, Hunt School of Nursing, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Hunt School of Dental Medicine will delay opening on Thursday, Feb. 3. Staggered schedules have been communicated with the respective schools’ students, faculty and staff.

All Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso clinics will open at 10 a.m. Those seeking immediate medical attention are advised to call 911.

YWCA gyms, Academies for Early Learning, After School Programs, and LIFT program will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 3. YWCA administration offices will open at 11 am. Depending on weather and road conditions, the offices may remain closed.

Las Cruces Public Schools - All classes shift to remote learning Thursday, Feb. 3.

Las Cruces Public Schools Testing Locations Closed: School buildings that were open as COVID-19 testing sites with Premier Medical Group and Curative will also be closed Thursday. Feb. 3

Las Cruces Public Schools athletics, activities and practices canceled Thursday, Feb. 3

Gadsden ISD will shift to remote learning Thursday, Feb. 3

GISD athletics, activities and practices canceled for Wednesday, Feb. 2; Thursday, Feb. 3

NMSU will be delayed until 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3.

DACC will be delayed until 11 a.m. Thursday, Fef. 3.

TXDOT: Transmountain closed.

El Paso County offices will be closed Thursday, Feb. 3, Friday Feb. 4. El Paso County Courthouse/Offices – Closed, staff on telework Thurs/Fri.

The City of El Paso is suspending normal operations at City Hall and all administrative offices on Thursday, Feb.3.
The City of El Paso’s COVID-19 testing and vaccine sites will be closed Thursday, Feb. 3. All ten (10) City sites will resume regular hours on Friday, February 4.
Trash and recyclables will be collected as scheduled on Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4. If weather conditions contribute to hazardous roadway conditions, the Environmental Services Department may only collect gray bins. The public will be notified if the recycling collections are suspended. Winter conditions may delay collections. Residents are asked to leave their bins out on the curb until they have been emptied.
