Rulis’ International Kitchen To Host Game Night And Raffle For El Paso County Historical Society
Game nights at restaurants and movie theaters have become a big thing lately, and next week, you can go to a game night and help preserve El Paso history at the same time.
The El Paso County Historical Society has teamed up with Rulis' International Kitchen right next door to the KISS FM studios for Game Night and Raffle. All the proceeds from the evening will go to fund the preservation of EPCHS archival collections. If you've never been to the El Paso County Historical Society, you should. They have thousands of historical documents, high school yearbooks, old City directories, over 20,000 photos, and other historical items from El Paso's past.
The EPCH is housed in one of the prettiest homes in Sunset Heights, the Burges House. The home was built in 1912 and when you're there, you can ask for a tour. It is amazing to walk through and see displays about the various generations of Burges' who lived there and even the brides in the family who got married at the home.
The Game Night and Raffle is open to all ages and games will include trivia and lotería. Head out to Rulis' to grab a great meal, play some fun games, and help maintain El Paso's rich history!
