Property taxes are due by the end of January. If you don’t pay before then, you will accrue penalties and those penalties could add hundreds of dollars to your tax bill. The deadline to pay 2018 property taxes is Thursday, January 31, 2019.

There are a number of different ways to pay your property taxes. Those payment options include:

1. Pay Online - Go to the City's website and pay on the Consolidated Tax Office page. You can also pay by phone at 915-212-0106 with credit card. There is a 1.98% convenience fee to pay with a credit card. You can also pay with an e-check.

2. Pay By Mail - You can use a personal or cashier checks or money order but no cash. Your payment has to be postmarked before January 31. Use the envelope provided in your tax bill. Mail to:

3. Pay In Person - Go to the City Tax Office, 221 N. Kansas, Ste. 300 (Wells Fargo Building, 3rd floor), Open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can also go to County Tax Office locations, El Paso Wells Fargo locations (no drive through); Mobile Bank at Central Appraisal Office, 5801 Trowbridge, open January 29, January 30, and January 31, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will need to bring your tax bill with you and only cash, checks, and money orders will be accepted.

Property tax bills may also be printed by visiting the Tax Office website and selecting “Pay Your Taxes.”
