Places To Eat, Drink And Get Your Ride Fixed In El Paso

Yep, you read that right .... car and motorcycle maintenance with great "while you wait" specials.

H & H Car Wash used to be the place to go for great food and a clean car. Sadly, they closed in 2021 and the owner, Maynard Haddad, passed away last month theoretically ruling out any possibility of it ever reopening.

There are other places around town though where you can have your vehicle needs seen to while you relax and enjoy tasty goodies of some sort.

• Sinister Kustoms, 9408 McCombs. General maintenance, major repairs and custom work while you kick back at The Dripping Cauldron coffee Shop. It  offers all kinds of coffee and tea concoctions along with snacks, pastries, kids drinks and a killer ... no pun intended ... gift shop loaded with spooky stuff, cool collectables and other oddities. They also have cool music and horror memorabilia on display.
• Barnett Harley Davidson, 8272 Gateway East. They have a nice waiting area where you can enjoy a soft drink or some coffee while you wait. Saturdays are the best days to go as they have food trucks onsite and often have live DJ's and/or other entertainers as well.
• Rods Custom Cycles and Automotive, 3900 Pershing. Car and motorcycle work done while you sip on a cold one at Rods Sports Bar. Play some pool, listen to music or all of the above. If you catch them at the right time, they may even have a live band playing for you.

Next time you need some work done, instead of staring at the wall or scrolling online for a couple of hours, visit one of these places and have some fun.
