Why is this night so special? In 2019, the City of El Paso officially declared December 13th Barbed Wire Open Mic Series Day, honoring the passion, creativity, and community that BWOMS has fostered. Now, we’re celebrating with one of the most memorable open mics yet!

The PIE Sisters, a soulful R&B group here in El Paso, will grace us with 2 of their members mesmerizing voices that will stop you in your tracks. Their harmonies don’t just steal hearts—they capture entire souls. If you’ve never heard them perform, this is your chance to witness the magic as they take the stage as our feature performers.

The evening will also feature a breathtaking visual backdrop by Christin Apodaca, one of El Paso’s most celebrated artists and muralists. Her work doesn’t just decorate walls; it tells stories, sparks emotions, and highlights the resilience and brilliance of the city’s women through her Love Letters project.
