Paydirt Pete Proudly Represents El Paso in New York City Photos
The University of Texas at El Paso have made their way to New York City, just in time for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Back in September, the news broke about the team's invitation to participate in the 95th Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade! After many years of auditioning to be invited, it is great to see the team make their dreams come true! Including Paydirt Pete's!
Of course, the team needed some help financially to get to New York but we know their skills were already approved for the big day. Sadly, Paydirt Pete doesn't seem to be digging up any gold lately, so they called upon local business and fans to support them.
As you can see in their Instagram photos, many local sponsors have come together to help send the team to New York.
It isn't all play for UTEP Cheer and Paydirt Pete, you can bet they are also working on their cheers and stunts to strut on the parade route.
Surprisingly, you can still donate to the team to help them cover the cost, according to their fundraiser, as of November 23rd. It is showing the team raised $15,425 so far, from multiple states. I really like that their donation pages show where the donations came from and people can give a shout-out to the team when they make their donation.
What does need to be praised is the photographer of Paydirt Pete in New York City. All those New York models do not have anything on this Texas stud strutting his stuff through the city.
Don't miss your chance to see the Paydirt Pete, and the UTEP Miners Cheer and Dance team proudly represent the Sun City on Thanksgiving Day, when the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade kicks off at 9 am on NBC.
