Original Actor Who Portrayed Jason Vorhees in Friday the 13th Coming to El Paso

Ari Lehman, the original actor who portrayed Jason Voorhees in the original Friday the 13^th movie, will appear live and in person at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo on Friday August 5, 2016.

In honor of Friday the 13^th’s 36th anniversary, Ari Lehman will perform with his band, First Jason beginning at 9:30 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse’s Glass Half Full followed by the screening of the movie at 10:30 p.m. The actor will also be available after the movie for a Q&A with the audience.

The movie Friday the 13^th celebrates its 36 anniversary this year as it opened up in US theaters on May 9, 1980. Jason Voorhees’ death led to 12 more slasher films including a crossover film, a TV show, novels, comic books. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at drafthouse.com.
