One El Pasoan Is Creating Giant Grazing Boards & Now We Want One

A local El Pasoan has taken to making giant grazing boards, and the results are temptingly impressive.

Grazing tables are nothing new but have seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to social media made with everything and anything that your heart desires.

Everything from nachos, spaghetti, salads, and many more foods have served as grazing tables; however, not all are created equally.

One particular El Pasoan turned a longtime hobby into a thriving business that seemed to have gotten busier with the pandemic last year.

The pandemic has been life-altering for so many people, and for some, it opened new opportunities that they might not have otherwise taken.

Two years before the pandemic hit, Valerie Garza quit her job to tend to her family and homeschool her child. When the pandemic shut everything down, she continued to make her charcuterie boards (to-go), and even though people were genuinely scared about the virus, orders kept coming in.

But it wasn't until February of this year that Garza decided that she would take her charcuterie styling skills to elevate her hobby into a business, and thus One Board Chick was born.

One Board Chick has gone from a couple of orders a month to dozens per week, and now with her latest giant grazing table creation (which measures about 7ft x 4ft), the native El Pasoan is getting busier than ever.

The giant grazing table features cheeses, crackers, fruits, nuts, meats, veggies, jams, chutney, pickles, and much more, all meticulously laid out and perfectly garnished with fresh flowers.
