Sometimes, love can conquer all odds.

Back in July 2011, Matt Davis was in a horrific motorcycle accident. He had several broken bones and severe head trauma. Matt was only 22-years-old, and he and his wife Danielle Josey Davis had only been married seven months. Only nine days after the accident, Danielle was told that her husband would never recover. Doctors suggested that she pull the plug on the love of her life. Danielle, however, wouldn't give up on their love and decided to move him into her mother's house, where they would give Matt round-the-clock care.

Matt was in a coma for three months, then started following his wife around the room with his eyes. One day, she decided to try to have him put a hat on his head, and Matt whispered to Danielle the greatest thing she had ever heard, "I'm trying."

They fought to get Matt back into rehab, where he worked with various therapists to learn the basics: walking, talking, eating, drinking and more. Three years later, and Matt is still in need of his therapy to improve. Unfortunately, the insurance has been maxed out and will no longer pay for Matt's therapy bills.

Danielle and Matt have set up a GoFundMe account to try and gather donations to help him in his continued recovery. What they are trying to achieve is getting a personal trainer/ exercise specialist to work with Matt at least 3-4 hours a day, 4 days a week to help him with his motor skills. They believe with at least one year of intense therapy, it would greatly help his skills and possibly get him to be able to walk again.

You can donate to his GoFundMe account to help Matt, Danielle and their family. Their goal is get $100,000 to cover all of Matt's bills.
