Taylor Swift is back and wielding a sharp tongue in cheek video in her latest song Look What You Just Made Me Do.

Earlier during the week Taylor Swift’s social media pages went dark and then pictures of a snake appeared and everyone began speculating that this was leading towards her releasing new music and indeed it was. Minutes ago Swift dropped her newest single Look What You Just Made Me Do and the musical marketing genius has gone and reinvented her sound. But in typical Taylor Swift fashion her lyrics are about someone or some people who have done her wrong.

Whether the song is about her feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian when she sings, "The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now,Why?, 'Cause she's dead." Maybe that lyric is referencing the phone call that was recorded and leaked by Kanye and Kim. Or maybe the song is about her feud with Katy Perry and the alleged fight over the dancing left shark or maybe this is residual breakup effects from her relationship with Calvin Harris, take your pick. It may be one or it may be all or maybe it’s about everyone she’s ever had a bad experience with. Whoever the song is about its pretty clear that she wants to make it known that she hasn’t been broken and that she is stronger than what they think especially when she sings, “Honey, I rose from the dead, I do it all the time.” Whoever Swift has had drama with she pretty much flipped them off with her new single Look What You Made Me Do and in the process reinvented her sound and persona doing so.

Taylor Swift’s new album, Reputation will be available everywhere on November 10, 2017 and is also available for pre-order through her website.
