If you can’t stand the sound of people chewing, slurping, gulping or making noise while eating then new research points to all the signs that you’re probably smarter than most.

About 20% of the population has what is called misophonia, which is, according to Wikipedia, a heightened sensitivity to certain noises. Researchers from Northwestern University found that people hypersensitive to certain sounds tend to be more creative, which in turn also raises their IQ because of the heightened senses.
