Movies on the Lawn Returns This Summer to UTEP

UTEP is bringing back their successful free summer movie series,"Movies on the Lawn" starting this Friday.

"Movies on The Lawn" starting back in 2010 and this Friday they return kicking off the program’s fifth season with the premiere of “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at Kidd Field.

All films are free to the public and are shown on an 18-foot inflatable screen. The "Movies on the Lawn" series has been growing in popularity since its inception.

Movies are subject to change without notice. No alcohol, glass containers or pets allowed. Closed captioning is available on all movies and concessions will be available, including a $5 movie combo which includes a hot dog, small soda and popcorn and all films begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. or as determined by sunset.
