Instagram recently showed me an amazing mother and son team helping out the homeless in El Paso. For once I can not fight the algorithm but instead owe it an apology for finally showing me these amazing deeds being documented on Sis.Marianne's Instagram.

I know many El Pasoans have stepped up during the pandemic to help out our community in many ways. Originally from Detroit Michigan, Sis.Marianne and her son Bookie are using their GoFundMe to help feed the homeless in El Paso. With the funds they raise, they make and package homemade meals to deliver to homeless El Pasoans.

In some other posts, they shine a light on the personalities of the people they meet.

When available, they even hand out some supplies to help people stay safe in the crazy El Paso weather.

According to their GoFundMe Page, Sundays are when Bookie and Sis.Marianne head out and deliver these meals. The night when most people are being lazy to prepare for the next work week, these two angles are working hard to give people a really great meal.

If you would like to help Bookie & Mommy's Helping Hands, you can donate to their GoFundMe page below.

You can also follow their journey of helping out people around the sister by following Sis.Marianne on her Instagram.
