Monster Jam, Cher among 6 Concerts & Events in El Paso This Week
If you like attending as many of the live concerts and events that come through town as you have time and money for then you know the March events calendar offers many opportunities.
In fact, this week alone there are six consecutive days of big-name concerts and popular attractions happening.
The must-attend events start Wednesday, March 4, with the Illusionists and end Monday with the last Kiss concert in El Paso ever. Here’s how the event calendar looks through March 9, 2020.
The Illusionists - Wednesday, March 4
Mind-blowing magic and illusions by some of the best illusionists on the planet. How good are they? So good, I bet they could even make it look like people are actually riding the downtown trolley. [Tickets + Info]
Harry Connick Jr. - Thursday, March 5
The crooner from New Orleans celebrates the music of Cole Porter on this tour and will perform Porter's songs as well as some of his own. It's being billed as "an intimate performance". Sounds super-sexy. [Tickets + Info]
Cher - Friday, March 6
The iconic Cher is kicking off the second leg of her North American right here in El Paso. The legendary performer, who is probably a vampire since she never seems to age, will belt out all your favorites from her six decades of hits. Nile Rodgers & CHIC will open. [Tickets + Info]
El Paso Symphony Orchestra Presents the Music of Selena - Saturday, March 7
Anything for Salinas. Yes, even if it means attending a symphony. Isabel Marie Sanchez performs all of the Queen of Tejano's best-known songs accompanied by our own Symphony Orchestra. [Tickets + Info]
Monster Jam - Saturday and Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, March 7-8
Like the almost weekly winds that roll through every March, Monster Jam returns as well. Fourteen of the most popular monster trucks will take over Sun Bowl Stadium for several hours of absolutely insane displays of gravity-defying feats. [Tickets + Info]
KISS - Monday, March 9
KISS is on its farewell tour and El Paso is one of the city's that gets to “Rock and Roll All Nite” with the Starchild, Demon, Spaceman and Catman. After nearly half a century of full makeup, boots way too tall for mere mortals to walk in, and a stage show second to none, the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famers will be swinging through town for the last time ever. Don’t SMH me, that’s what they keep saying. [Tickets + Info]
