Miner Welcome Week Filled with Free Activities & Giveaways

School is back in session at the University of Texas El Paso, and with the first week of classes comes a slew of events and giveaways to start the new semester off.

"Miner Welcome" offers new and returning students opportunities to become familiar or get reacquainted with the UTEP campus, and fellow Miners while having some fun and blowing off some of that first week stress.

Activities planned include a Grab & Go lunch from a food truck, playing Pokemon Go in the Union Plaza, free coffee and donuts, and a Beatles tribute band. Welcome week culminates with the biggest party of the year; Minerpalooza.

All events are free for UTEP students and staff. Check out the daily schedule of the events below.
