Miley Cyrus Covers the Beatles’ ‘Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds’ at 2014 Billboard Music Awards [VIDEO]

At long last, Miley Cyrus and the Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne's cover of the Beatles' 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds' is finally here. The duo premiered their psychedelic rendition in a pre-taped performance at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards tonight.

Donning a bronze-colored shimmering coat over a leotard and hot pink stripes painted on her cheeks, Cyrus certainly looked the part to sing the cover -- and we have to say, we love their hazy, slowed-down version. The 'Wrecking Ball' singer makes no attempt to hide her love for marijuana -- and in fact even recorded a cover of this song while high -- but at the end of the day, it's her voice that makes the song great. And as the confetti rains down on both Miley and Wayne Coyne -- who is also rocking a similar shawl and bodysuit -- Cyrus wags her signature tongue, hoping to catch some confetti in her mouth. That's what we love about her and this cover: She totally owns it and makes it her own.
