Meadows Farm in Fabens Hosting Outdoor Movie Series Through April

Outdoor movie aficionados might want to consider a short drive to Meadows Farm in Fabens one of these upcoming Saturdays.

With spring upon us and temperatures getting warmer by the day, El Pasoans looking to escape their couch and venture out for some outdoor entertainment can find it under the stars in the form of a special event weekly film series the venue is putting on.

On consecutive Saturdays in March and all four Saturdays in April, The Meadows Weddings + Events, 17901 Middle Island Road in Fabens, will be hosting an outdoor movie screening for those wanting to kick back with the kids or the crew and watch a flick alfresco style.

Film selections in the coming weeks includes Avengers Infinity and Twilight. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets and pillows to make their movie watching experience more comfortable, which I highly recommend. The days may be getting warmer, but temperatures cool down this time of the year once the sun sets.

The Meadows is a rural “gathering place” surrounded by cotton and pecan fields that was originally a family home, but has since been converted to “a unique, flexible and gorgeous full-service events venue.”

What to Know Before You Go

• $30 per picnic area. Max of 6 people. Picnic area consists of picnic blanket and a haystack, which you can use as a table or to recline on.
• Attendees must mask up when not in their own picnic area.
• A food truck will be on site. No outside food or drinks allowed.
• Movie start time is 7 p.m. or right after sunset
