Mayor of El Paso, Oscar Leeser and Mayor of Ciudad Juarez Lic. Javier Gonzalez Mockens, are set to meet at the top of International Bridge this Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 at 5 p.m. uniting our borderland in the spirit of peace and good will.

To show solidarity between El Paso and Ciudad Juarez, both Mayors will meet at the top of the Paso del Norte International Bridge, commonly known as the Santa Fe Street Bridge, in an embrace of friendship during the season of peace on earth and goodwill toward man.

Each of the two cities represents a continuous friendship between the United States and Mexico. It will begin with a Posada in Cd. Juárez, and it will end at the Paso del Norte International Bridge with a friendly greeting between the Mayor of El Paso, Oscar Leeser and the Mayor of Ciudad Juarez Lic. Javier Gonzalez Mockens. Also in attendance will be Bishop Mark J. Seizts, D.D. of The Catholic Diocese of El Paso, and Bishop Jose Guadalupe Torres of The Diocese of Juarez as well as both General Counsel's.
