Matthew McConaughey Watches the Star Wars Trailer

Last week was pretty exciting for movie fans everywhere.  The new Star Wars movie trailer was released on the same day that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser was leaked to the public.  Star Wars in particular is a franchise which shares a strong emotional connection with its fans.  Mando Medina from our sister station and I had a lengthy conversation about the trailer and spent over an hour nerding out over every detail (I’ll spare you the screen shots of our texts).

I can honestly say that a chill went up my spine when I first saw the 2-minute teaser and Mando admitted to getting a little bit of dirty in his eye.  Turns out that Matthew McConaughey felt the same way we did too.  Ironically enough, the video below made me laugh so hard that I cried.
