Las Cruces Woman Arrested After Pointing a Loaded Gun at Boyfriend

A Las Cruces woman has been arrested after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at her boyfriend during an argument.

26-year-old Ryann Wagner is being held on suspicion of one count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery against a household member after she held a loaded gun towards her boyfriend during an argument just before midnight on Tuesday.

Las Cruces Police were called out to a domestic dispute at a Las Cruces residence just where they found Wagner and her boyfriend in a full on argument. Wagner allegedly pointed a loaded handgun at her 34-year-old boyfriend when he tried to gather his stuff and leave. Police officers recovered the handgun in Wagner's bedroom.

She was arrested and booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center where she is being held without bond.
