Trolley Tracks featuring local musicians returns this weekend for a ride around the heart of downtown El Paso like no other, featuring local musician Zach Welsh ( St. Nobody ), the Carlos Barba Trio, and Lawrence E Brown III Vitruvian Project.
Welsh and company will perform onboard the El Paso streetcar, where passengers can enjoy a one-of-a-kind free mini-concert performance this Saturday, March 26.
Passengers are welcome to board Streetcar #1511 at the Arts District streetcar stop off Santa Fe across from the Convention Center or anywhere along the route. Also, FYI, the route has been shortened due to repairs to a waterline that will close the upper loop service for this weekend.
Lower loop service and special programming will run as scheduled from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. this Friday and Saturday. Service to the upper loop route will resume upon completing repairs to the waterline.
Boarding will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Convention Center stop at Santa Fe and Henry Trost in front of the Museum of Art.
