Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (Official Trailer)

We were first introduced to Jumanji when the film hit theatres in 1995 starring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst & Bonnie Hunt! The 2017 version of Jumanji 'Welcome to The Jungle" features a comedy-driven cast with names like Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Kevin Hart and Jack Black.

The film is based on a magical board game where players can only return to reality by physically finishing the game after turning into the characters that they’ve chosen. The players are in for a wild ride as the game reveals more & more danger and in the trailer Johnson vocalizes that since the players have turned into the characters that they’ve chosen that “they must also have 3 lives” which could mean life threatening instances for the characters.

I do remember having this board game a kid and it not having magical powers and feeling like the company had wasted my time. The game is available online and at Target so you can continue the Jumanji experience with the children after seeing the flick when it hits theaters Wednesday, December 20th, 2017.
