Judge Samaniego Welcomes Danny Trejo and Charlie Clark to El Paso

Samaniego, Trejo, and Clark: The Trio We Never Knew We NEEDED!

Last week, Charlie Clark made his way to the borderland to celebrate the grand opening of his newest car dealership location in west El Paso, Charlie Clark INFINITI.

Charlie was joined by none other than his partner in crime, and fellow “Green Ghost” co-star, Danny Trejo. Also in attendance to help Charlie cut the red ribbon was El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego.

“We are extremely grateful to the community of El Paso and surrounding areas for their patience and support. We are excited to finally celebrate this important milestone in the history of Charlie Clark Automotive Group,” said Charlie Clark, owner and founder of Charlie Clark Automotive Group.

The new dealership was once located on Airway Blvd, but it is now located at 6501 S. Desert Blvd, right next to its sister store, Charlie Clark Nissan.

A night out with the boys!

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, Judge Samaniego decided to balance fun and work by taking Charlie and Danny across El Paso to introduce them to a few local businesses in hopes of encouraging both men to consider growing their businesses in the El Paso Community.

“Charlie is expanding his dealership and other entrepreneurial businesses, like a bee farm, and Danny is promoting his record label and concert promotions at our Iconic Coliseum. Balancing fun and work was indeed enjoyable,” read a post shared to Judge Samaniego’s Facebook page.

The El Paso Times shared a photo of actor Danny Trejo sporting an El Paso Chihuahuas hat while posing for a photo at the iconic Downtown El Paso pawn shop known for its bizarre items and most importantly its huge Elvis statue.

Danny, Charlie, and Judge Samaniego then made their way to east El Paso to enjoy some delicious food at Morra Mia Barrio Kitchen + Drinks.

The restaurant shared a photo on their social media page thanking the group for stopping by with the caption reading

“Thank you for visiting us while in El Paso Mr. Trejo! Always so happy to have Charlie Clark and friends! Orale!!”

Elton’s Dueling Piano Bar: 115 Durango Suite A

The three amigos then made their way to Downtown’s Union Plaza to enjoy some music and good company at Elton’s Dueling Piano Bar.

A photo shared on the bar's Instagram showed Danny Trejo posing for a picture with co-owner Michael Sarabia and his wife.

Judge Samaniego also shared his own photo which showed all three men on stage interacting with the crowd. 

The smiles on their faces only means that their day of adventure was a successful and fun one!

I was happy to see that Judge Samaniego took Charlie and Danny to El Paso businesses that aren’t usually visited by celebrities when they visit El Paso.

Our city is full of AMAZING local businesses and hopefully Danny and Charlie realized that during their time here and hopefully it encourages them to invest in our city!
