The one-man show, Latin History For Morons starring John Leguizamo is heading to El Paso for one night only on December 12, 2019.

Following John Leguizamos hit Broadway run, the Tony-nominated one-man play, Latin History For Morons was written by Leguizamo and was inspired after noticing the near-total absence of Latinos from his son’s American History books. The show takes the audience through the Aztec empire to stories of unknown Latin patriots of the Revolutionary War and beyond, breaking down the 3,000 years between the Mayans all the way to modern-day America through his musings and unique impressions.

John Leguizamo has had so much success on Broadway dating back with Ghetto Klown, Freak, Sexaholix…A Love Story and Off-Broadway with Mambo Mouth and Spic-O-Rama. Notably, Mambo Mouth, Spic-O-Rama, Freak and Ghetto Klown all were filmed and previewed on HBO.

Tickets will officially go on sale coming on Friday, September 13 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com, the Plaza Theatre Box Office or Charge-By-Phone at 1-800-745-3000.
