Whether it was behind the camera or in front, this new horror film features lots of great local talent from El Paso and Las Cruces!

The trailer to the new horror movie Squealer was just released and it shows some familiar faces. The film is set to be released on digital on demand on November 3rd. Check out the trailer below, although do be advised it is NSFW.

The official synopsis reads:

When young women start disappearing in a small town, a police officer and a street-smart social worker follow clues to a remote pig farm, where they discover the local butcher has been bringing his work home. Enter the world of a serial killer and experience for yourself the bloodcurdling horror of a film that’s bound to take your breath away.

The film is rated “R” for “strong violence and gore, drug use, graphic nudity, some sexual material and language throughout, and is inspired by true events.

This terrifying thriller stars Theo Rossi, of Sons of Anarchy fame and Tyrese Gibson, who you may recognize from the Fast and the Furious franchise. Squealer is one of the films that Gibson was seen filming in Las Cruces last year!

Because it was filmed so close, there are some names and faces you may recognize. Las Cruces born actor Rocko Reyes is featured in the film as well as Christina Gonzalez, who many may recognize as local cosplayer Christina Dark- who is also featured in the trailer alone!
