Everyone is Hoping Chico’s Tacos Really Did Bring Back their OG Cheese

Could this be true?!

While scrolling through the Foodies of El Paso TX. & Surrounding Areas official page (it is a private group but it has over 40,000 members so you probably are already in that group!) I came upon a post that I could not believe my eyes!

A member of the group alerted everyone that Chico's Tacos allegedly has brought back their original cheese!

You know what cheese we mean. The gooey cheese that instantly melted in the hot, delicious soup. The ORIGINAL cheese that we all love was changed back in 2017 due to it being discontinued; so Chico's went with a different one.

It wasn't all bad, but it was definitely noticeable that it was different! Did I like the new cheese? Not really. But do I still eat Chico's? Yes.

So of course, when this El Paso Foodie posted that the original has possibly been brought back to life, there were of course, the initial reaction was excitement!

There were some who, understandably, wanted proof- which I get, I don't want to go all the way to Chico's only to be disappointed!

And then there were some who claim they could definitely taste the difference and just knew that the OG cheese was back!

Also, notice how someone commented claiming to know that this was indeed true.

Could it be true that the OG cheese is making its return to Chico's Tacos? For now, you tell us; would you want the old Chico's Tacos cheese to come back? I guess this means I'll have to do some deep investigative reporting, which just means I'm going to eat at Chico's today.
