What is The Roswell UFO Festival

The Roswell UFO Festival is an annual event held in Roswell, New Mexico since 1996 and celebrates the famous 1947 Roswell UFO incident. This incident involves claims that an unidentified flying object (UFO) crashed near Roswell, and the U.S. military allegedly recovered the debris and possibly extraterrestrial beings. Over the years, the incident has become a focal point for UFO enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists.

The festival typically takes place over a weekend in early July, this year it was the first weekend in July, and features a variety of activities and people from all over visit the small town to celebrate all things extra-terrestrial!

Well, one particular flying saucer kept getting stopped by Earthly authorities in its journey to the festival!

The infamous custom-built UFO car traveled from Indiana all the way to Roswell, but kept getting stopped for that darn registration! Steve Anderson, driver of the UFO car, had more troubles as he traveled to the Land of Enchantment!

Eventually, Anderson made it to Roswell, but not before getting stopped one more time- this time, just for laughs.

After a few close encounters from the police, it's safe to say that Anderson's UFO car was a hit at the UFO Fest- but, buddy, you got to get that registration fixed!

If you ever find yourself in Roswell, New Mexico, I highly suggest a visit to the out-of-this-world McDonald's!
