The El Paso Community Foundation Plaza Classic Film Festival's FREE Holiday Movies at the Plaza Theatre ARE HERE! Plus, I've got the full schedule for you.

Get a jump on the holidays — and WinterFest, which opens this Saturday —  with Tim Burton's darkly imaginative The Nightmare Before Christmas at 7 pm Thursday, November 17th. Kick off your holidays with a sprinkle of Halloween and catch a glimpse of the new WinterFest ice skating rink that has... real ice! It is located across the street at its new location, the Convention Center Plaza.

The movies at the Plaza are free. No tickets are required. Seating is first-come, first-served.

GECU, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary, is sponsoring the five-week, nine-film series, which will run Sundays November 27 through December 18.  The beloved movies will be presented “Plaza Classic style,” with an introduction and a 30-minute performance by Richard Garven and Ken Fedorick on the Wyler Mighty Wurliltzer Pipe Organ before each movie.
