There are some things you'll hear just about every El Pasoan say. Things like "we have the most beautiful sunsets" or "our Mexican food is the best". Oh, and "it's a dry heat" comes up a lot.

Other things, you'll hear peeps say differently. "I love Chicos", for example, will probably be matched almost immediately by an "I hate Chicos".

There are some things though that you will never, EVER hear an El Pasoan say. Those things include ...

Things Nobody Says In El Paso

• I sure hope they're not selling churros in there.
• I can't wait for windy season.
• Summer's not hot enough.
• Waiting in line at the bridge is fun.
• "No thank you" to a free tequila shot. (Or a beer.)
• I'll get right on that.
• I'll get right on that.

Well, ok, in all fairness, we may say that last one but don't get your hopes up ... we're not really going to do it.

I hate burritos, pan dulce sucks, no mas  ___ more words you won't hear uttered by a true El Pasoan. Oh yeah, cant forget San Antonio/Austin/Houston/whatever other Texas city you care to name ... Las Cruces, you too ... is better/cooler than we are. Si Chewy, they wish.
