The Night Tunes Street Dance Series in Downtown Victoria Continues
Last month, the Victoria Main Street Program kicked off its Night Tunes Street Dance series in celebration of Father's Day! The free street dance series continues this month at DeLeon Plaza in downtown Victoria. The street dances will take place on Friday's and the event time will be from 7 - 10 p.m.
Not only do you enjoy live music, but there will also be shopping, food trucks, family activities, and community fun. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and spend your summer nights in the heart of Downtown Victoria! No ice chest, please.
Here is a schedule of upcoming performances for Night Tunes.
Friday, July 17: America's 250 Celebration with Delphine's Dream and Glitch. Rock out to metal legends, classic rock anthems, and favorites from the '80s through the early 2000s
Friday, August 14: Hot Summer Nights with Retro Currents & Kool and Together.
Get ready for an evening of funk, soul, grooves, and feel-good summer vibes.
Friday, September 4: Hispanic Heritage Celebration with Grupo Lokura & Amanda Solis. Close out the street dance series with cumbia vibes and Latin favorites; Amanda Soliz's performance will be a tribute to Selena.
Tejas Fest will take place in October in downtown Victoria.
Tejas Fest returns for a third year, and as always, it's a free community event in Victoria! This year's festival will take place on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3. Friday night will feature an all Tejano/Norteno lineup. Saturday night will feature a couple of Texas country legends.
