Is the Eastside Getting a Sprouts Farmers Market?

There’s talk the rapidly growing far eastside is getting a Sprouts Farmers Market of its own, but is there any truth to the rumor? I reached out to the company for confirmation and got something more along the lines of a not-right-now.

According to an email from Customer Relations Manager Susan Cameron, she checked an updated list of store openings and “[did] not see a store listed for El Paso at this time," but added that "If it is an area we are looking at and we have not secured the site yet it will not be on our store opening list.”

Well, at least it wasn’t a flat out no. Sprouts currently operates one store in El Paso at 655 Sunland Park Drive, across from the mall.
