Icona Pop Receives Freedom Crossing Coins at Fort Bliss

Over the weekend Icona Pop was presented with Freedom Crossing coins as a thank you for their performance at the Let Freedom Sing concert series.

Over the weekend Freedom Crossing’s Let Freedom Sing free concert music series hosted Icona Pop at Fort Bliss. After their lively performance, Lieutenant Colonel Warren Pittman presented the Swedish singers, Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo and their session drummer with three Freedom Crossing coins as a memento of their time in El Paso.

The Electro-pop duo performed for a little over an hour covering all their fan-favorite tunes including All Night, Emergency, Girlfriend, and closing out the night with their 2012 smash hit I Love It.

In the video, the duo are genuinely surprised and blown away by the gesture rendering them speechless and simply say thank you. Thank you Icona Pop we had a great time and we can’t wait to have you back in El Paso.
