Group Helps Mentor Young Dads in Program Across New Mexico

Being a young parent can be difficult, but there's now a group that hopes to make it a little easier by offering support and tips for young dads all over New Mexico.

"Young Fathers of Santa Fe" is all about dads helping dads through mentoring, job placement, education and anything else they may need to feel supported. The mentor dad's are paired up with a young dad for encouragement, guidance, and friendship.

New Mexico is number one in teen pregnancy and many young father's are made every day. The non-profit started back in 2009 and most of who they help are young dads, and not just in Santa Fe, but throughout the state.
